What is HAK’s Supper Club?

We’re not a restaurant.
We’re a Supper Club – a curated evening, created fresh each day.
There’s no menu to choose from. No walk-ins. No fast food.
Just one shared moment at the table – personal, seasonal, and heartfelt.

What to expect

• A warm welcome with homemade snacks
• Our signature Blue Pea Iced Tea
• A surprise dinner menu, freshly planned that morning
• Dessert, coffee and tea
• Second helpings if available
• Itisha’s “Story on a Plate” – each dinner tells a story inspired by Malaysia, Sabah, and her own childhood kitchen

Why only one menu?

Because we shop each morning at the local market – and work with farmers, fishermen, and neighbours from the area.
We cook what’s fresh today. That keeps waste low, freshness high, and the region’s food culture alive on the plate.

We’re happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan or known allergies with advance notice.
But please understand:

We are not a hospital – traces of allergens (nuts, gluten, dairy, seafood, etc.) cannot be ruled out.

You’ll dine outdoors – or nearly: our covered terrace is open to nature, with candlelight, fans, flowers and lots of greenery.
We also offer:

• A private balcony for couples or small groups
• A pagoda for intimate group dining
• Space for up to 30 guests – ideal for:

  • Anniversaries & celebrations
  • Team dinners & business gatherings
  • Private parties & special occasions

Each evening is personal – and with enough notice, we’re happy to design something unique just for your group.

Our ingredients come from Lahad Datu and nearby – from the market, the boats, and our own farm and garden.
Many of our guests are locals who bring friends, family or business partners to share something special.
We’re not a secret. But we are a place with soul.

How to reserve

We cook by reservation only – because nothing is pre-cooked or prepared in bulk.
There is no walk-in service. Every evening is intentionally planned, prepared and shared.
