A beautiful cobalt-blue rice dish that celebrates the magic of Butterfly Blue Pea and the gentle heat of Kampung Ginger.
Ingredients
- 2 cups basmati rice
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 4 cups cold water
- 2 tsp HAK’s Kampung Ginger Powder
- 2 tsp HAK’s Butterfly Blue Pea Powder
- 2 tsp mushroom seasoning or salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Optional: pandan leaves
Instructions
- Rinse rice and drain well.
- Heat oil; add pandan if using.
- Stir in rice to coat.
- Add blue pea and ginger powder; mix well.
- Add water and seasoning; cover and cook 10–15 min on low.
- Fluff and serve with sambal or fried fish.
