Blue Pea Powder + Kampung Ginger Powder Infused Rice

A beautiful cobalt-blue rice dish that celebrates the magic of Butterfly Blue Pea and the gentle heat of Kampung Ginger.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 tsp HAK’s Kampung Ginger Powder
  • 2 tsp HAK’s Butterfly Blue Pea Powder
  • 2 tsp mushroom seasoning or salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Optional: pandan leaves

Instructions

  1. Rinse rice and drain well.
  2. Heat oil; add pandan if using.
  3. Stir in rice to coat.
  4. Add blue pea and ginger powder; mix well.
  5. Add water and seasoning; cover and cook 10–15 min on low.
  6. Fluff and serve with sambal or fried fish.
